Conestoga College

Being a leader in polytechnic education, Conestoga College is one of fastest growing colleges in Ontario. It is known to offer an amazing range of career-focused and applied research programs to prepare students for success in the new knowledge economy and promote economic prosperity throughout Canada.

The college was established in the year 1967, and it currently houses approximately 16,500 full-time students through campuses and training centers in Kitchener, Waterloo, Cambridge, Guelph, Stratford, Ingersoll and Brantford.

Conestoga is also a regional leader in apprenticeship training. Every year, over 38,000 students enroll for its continuing education programs. It also serves as the region’s only provider of polytechnic education.

Conestoga plays an important role in making the community successful as it is stated that 65 per cent of their graduates remain in the area after finishing their education, thus contributing more than $2.3 billion every year to the local economy.

Conestoga College offers around 200 career-focused programs, and has more degree offerings than any other college outside of the GTA, including Ontario’s only college-based, accredited engineering degrees. Its range of programs renders multiple entry points and recognized pathways.
